Project Description
LA Metro engaged a Systems Engineering Consulting (SEC) team to provide a range of design services in support of all Capital, State of Good Repair, and Joint Venture projects for both Rail and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in varying stages of conceptual design, preliminary engineering, final design and/or bidding for construction. This contract is for rail and bus projects as needed by Metro. Some projects include Vermont Corridor, Crenshaw Northern Extension, and more.
Scope of Work
SCL teamed up with Joint Venture, SECOTrans, to provide general systems engineering consultant services for all rail and bus projects in varying stages of conceptual design, preliminary engineering, final design and/or bidding for construction. SCL leads the quality effort for SECOTrans and adheres to Metro and Federal standards, policies, procedures and regulations in order to implement quality assurance practices across all projects LA Metro contracts us for. Part of our Quality Management role is to provide a Project Quality Program Manual to be approved by Metro, and then implement the approved plan.
